Conquest has announced the acquisition of EcoPower, a specialist electric utility vehicle business, from its owner Abco, as part of Conquest’s ongoing growth plans and continued focus on innovation across large facilities maintenance equipment.
The acquisition strengthens Conquest’s transport vehicles category, significantly expanding its electric utility vehicle range and providing customers with greater choice and flexibility across a wider range of operational requirements. The EcoPower range complements Conquest’s existing Super Duty UTVs, enabling customers to better tailor transport solutions to their site needs and budget considerations.
Conquest Managing Director Michael Mathews said the acquisition reflects Conquest’s commitment to expanding practical, reliable equipment options for customers operating complex environments.
“Our customers are managing large, diverse sites where a single vehicle solution doesn’t suit every task,” said Mathews. “The addition of EcoPower expands our electric utility vehicle range and gives customers more choice, from commercial and industrial applications through to more bespoke transport solutions, while continuing to work with a partner focused on reliability, service and long-term support.”
The expanded electric transport offering includes solutions designed for a wide range of environments and use cases, including people movers, laundry carts, accessible carts, resort carts, cleaners’ carts and golf carts. This breadth allows customers to select vehicles aligned to specific operational tasks, site layouts and budget requirements, while maintaining confidence in long‑term performance and support.
“EcoPower has built a strong position in electric transport solutions, and this transition allows the business to continue to grow with an organisation that shares our values and is well placed to take it forward,” said Nick Dileo, CEO of Abco. “Conquest and Abco have known each other for many years, and this next chapter enables us to refocus on our core business while continuing to supply the EcoPower range to our customers as a distributor, with confidence and continuity.”
As a long-term equipment partner to organisations responsible for maintaining large facilities, infrastructure and outdoor environments, Conquest continues to focus on delivering reliable, fit‑for‑purpose equipment that helps reduce downtime and support day‑to‑day operations. The acquisition of EcoPower enhances Conquest’s ability to support customers across both high‑capacity and more specialised electric transport applications.
This acquisition reinforces Conquest’s position as the unparalleled leader in large facilities maintenance equipment, supported by continued innovation, dependable equipment and a service first approach delivered at a national scale.
The EcoPower range will be available Australia wide, supported by Conquest’s existing service and support network.
