The Challenge
Ken Muston Automotive has moved their Service Centre to an impressive new facility that services their Mercedes, Chrysler, Jeep, Subaru, Isuzu Ute and Dodge Dealerships. The brand new facility boasts granite-type, painted concrete flooring costing the organisation approximately $100,000 to install. Obviously keen to protect this significant investment, Ken Muston Automotive was determined to ensure the floors remained clean and in peak condition keeping in line with the businesses prestigious image. This was no easy task due to the amount of traffic and activity the busy facility sees on a day-to-day basis. 
The Solution
A Conquest product expert visited the facility to apply the Intelligent Solutions Program. Conquest observed the inadequate results achieved and the excessive amount of man hours expended, manually mopping and scrubbing the floors. It was determined a ride on floor scrubber was the solution and a recommendation was made. It was proposed Conquest’s new MMG Plus automatic floor scrubbing machine, would fit the bill. The ease of operation appealed to Ken Muston who needed his staff to focus their time on running the busy Service Centre. The plethora of safety features was also an important feature due to the strict OH&S guidelines of the business. By cleaning and drying the floor in one pass, it has reduced the possibility of slip and fall hazards, a common objective in the Automotive industry.
The Result
By listening to the businesses unique challenges, Conquest were able to deliver a commercial floor scrubbing machine that easily cleaned the facility’s granite-type, painted concrete flooring as well as the external exposed concrete. Ken Muston Automotive saved two man-hours per day once they no longer had to undertake the tedious task of manually scrubbing the floors. The safety of the staff was also increased by keeping the floors dry and clean.
